100% electric catamaran-type vessel for port services or traditional fishing in Mediterranean waters.
For this project, a catamaran-type hull was chosen to reduce drag and therefore reduce consumption and power requirements.
The hull optimisation development was carried out with an advanced naval architecture study using CFD simulations allowing to study different hulls and to choose the ideal candidate in terms of performance and sea conditions.
The design of the boat integrates safety railings of 100cms in height from the deck all around the boat’s perimeter, anti-slip flooring, protective awnings that can be removed during the winter season and incorporates an enclosed cockpit with accommodation for two crew members on the port side, in case of use as a fishing boat, a windlass is mounted on the opposite side.
The deck integrates a stowage area for fishing gear estimated to weigh 300kg.
